Recent reports of Michael Jordan and his wife (Juanita) of 17 years divorcing are in fact true. The couples split became final in December 2006. The couple has three children: Jeffrey, 18, Marcus, 16, and Jasmine, 14. The legendary Bulls player is reported to be dating Cuban born, Yvette Prieto, the ex-girlfriend of Julio Iglesias Jr. Jordan’s new girlfriend is reported to be a model. The couple has recently purchased a three bedroom, 5,500 square foot home together in Miami.

Michael Jordan, along with girlfriend Yvette Prieto, and his mother celebrated his induction into the hall of fame in September 2009. The couple was also excited to celebrate MJ’s 47th birthday on Feb 17, 2010. Rumors have been circulating online for quite some time, however no official information has been released to support these accusations of the couples wedding. There have also been rumors of the couple expecting a new baby, however, again this is also unsubstantiated. The couple has maintained a very low profile, choosing to protect their privacy and limit comments about their future plans.

Jordan has continued to make headlines where his career is concerned. Jordan recently finalized a deal which would make him the new owner of The Charlotte Bobcats. He was also recently reported to have been in a lawsuit with two large chain grocery stores Jewels and Dominick. Both chains were accused of using Jordan’s name to sell items in the store, but neither store had been granted prior permission from Jordan.
