Yvette Prieto is Michael Jordan's current girlfriend. After divorcing his wife of 17 years in 2006, the basketball legend apparently felt that he needed some love in his life. Yvette is from Cuba and is allegedly a model. However, unlike most models, a Google search for her name only reveals a handful of pictures, most of which are recent shots of her with Michael Jordan. There are also about three or four pictures floating around the web of her with Julio Iglesias, the older brother of Latin singer Enrique Iglesias. These were taken when she dated him a few years ago.

One of the most hotly debated things about Yvette Prieto to date is her state of pregnancy or the lack thereof. It's quite possible that she could be carrying Michael Jordan's fourth child, and it's also quite possible that this is simply a rumor generate by second rate news organizations fishing for a little more time in the spotlight. In any event, a few months should clear things up completely.

It has been debated whether Yvette and Michael are actually dating at all. Some might wonder what a multi-millionarie athlete like Michael Jordan is doing taking out a 30 year mortgage on a 2500 square foot house that cost less than $300 thousand. However, his recent divorce cost him a couple million dollars, and he could simply be exercising caution. Yvette, who recently filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy, is a co-signer on the mortage. The apparent frugality could simply be a way of protecting Michael's assets if things go south while providing housing for them both.
